This story will have you feeling all kinds of emotions. I was hooked from the beginning. After Amie broke Declan's heart he returns home seventeen years later to raise his daughter. When Amie and Declan see each other the hurt feelings and love is stronger than ever. Can Declan forgive Amie? Will their love heal all wounds? Can Declan save Amie from her abusive relationship? Give Me This was a great addition to the rest of the series. Can be read as a standalone but does connect other characters from the rest of the series which I love. Full of angst and drama. I seriously was so shocked in parts and in others I was really hoping the heroine would get a break. Declan is great. Great second chance romance.

Give Me This is the 6th book in the It's Kind of Personal Series by Anna Brooks. I've been waiting for Declan's story for a while now and I was not disappointed! This book can easily be read as a stand alone...but be warned, you'll want to go back and read the other 4 books because they are all just as awesome. Declan and Amie have an amazing relationship. At just 17 years old, they know they are meant to be together forever. When Declan decides to join the Coast Guard, Amie promises to wait for him...but when she doesn't show up to his graduation, he knows something is wrong. When he goes to see her, she pushes him away and says she can't wait for him, she needs to move on. Fast forward a few years and Declan finds out he has a baby girl with a one-night stand. When she drops the baby off to live with him, he knows he needs his family and moves back home. Where Amie still lives. But she's in a relationship. When Declan finds out what has been going on in Amie's life, he protects her and has Amie move in with him. Declan and Amie's feelings for each other have never been far from the surface. Now that they are living together, can they work out the real issues from their past and find the love that was never really lost?

The perfect ending to the It's Kind Of Personal series! Declan has returned home, after a life altering event happened to him. He is such an awesome, kickbutt hero, with a bit of a possessive side you wouldn't think he had until someone he loves was put in danger. Amie is his perfect match. While their history is heartbreaking, she let's him in, but also has no problem demanding space if it's needed, or putting him in his place. The chemistry between these two is intense, and I was so glad to see they didn't dwell much on their past. My heart broke for everything Amie had gone through in, but she didn't come off as weak, or play the victim card. This book drew me in from the beginning, and had twists and turns around every corner. This is definitely a must read!!!

How do I describe my love for Anna Brooks and her It's Kind Of Personal series? I simply love her and this series. It has been an amazing 6 books and Give Me This was the perfect way to wrap up the series. Declan, to me, has always been the mysterious older brother/friend who makes brief appearances. But we haven't got to know him very well. Finally, we get his story! We meet him as a young man, about to enter into the Coast Guard. He has been so lucky as to meet the love of his life at a young age, and they have their future planned out. Nothing could prepare him for what was to come. 17 long years later,Dec returns home to an unexpected surprise and unexpected feelings to resurface. Amie was a young girl, with a sexy, sweet, alpha young man, who had her life planned with him. She felt lucky and like she had it all. When Dec left for the Coast Guard, Amie was dealt an extremely hard blow. And at that age, how do you deal with it? You push those that love you the most away. She felt like she was doing right by Declan, no matter how much it hurt. Now 17 years later, she's in a situation where no one else can help aside from Dec. She never let go of her feelings for him. Time and distance didn't change her love for him at all. These two were burning up the sheets and the pages. Their chemistry was crazy hot and if two people were completely meant for each other, it's these two!! What they've both dealt with in their lives only made them that much more perfect for each other. You'll get intensity, anger, love, hotness, second chances, drama, and amazing alpha male and an extremely tough woman in this one! Happy reading!!!!!!!
