Description

THE LOST GIRLS is book #2 in the #1 bestselling Suburban Murder series, which begins with THE FORGOTTEN GIRLS, book #1 (a free download)!

The brutally beaten body of a young girl is discovered in a marsh in Jamesport, one of New York’s most elite suburbs. Police comb the area, while many speculate her murder might be connected to the abduction, six months earlier, of three girls from Jamesport. The FBI has evidence of an underage prostitution and trafficking ring which may be related.

At the request of the FBI, Billy Dee, captain of the Ninth Precinct in the Bronx, head of its Sex Crimes Unit, sends two of his most seasoned detectives to Jamesport to conduct their own investigation: Bella de Franco and Jimmy “Mack” Menendez. They are sent north, back into the land of the beautiful.

Between local politics, fractured families, a heroin epidemic and a dark secret that the wealthy town strives to keep hidden, the unspeakably dark and twisted reality lurking behind Jamesport life is uncovered. As they learn that everything is not what it seems in this wealthy suburb, Bella and Mack must race against the clock to save one last girl before she is sold across state lines, where she will vanish forever.

Book #3 in the Suburban Murder series will be released soon!

Another Great book and a great crime novel. You will not be disappointed reading this book. It's hard to put down because it keeps you at the edge of your chair. You will like the characters. Mack makes me think of Anthony on the TV program Blue Bloods.

Oh my gosh....so terribly scared for the lost girls out there with no one to run to. Great story.

This book explores the horrible, sub human culture of children abducted, drugged and used for prostitution. It is well written, gripping and probably based on more fact than fiction. It really is a great book and makes digesting this type of crime very hard to handle.

A sad topic, but wonderfully written. This problem is occurring more and more in society. This author handles sex traffic of young girls in a positive manner and I look forward to her next book. Very well written story and difficult to put down. You want to keep reading to find out what is going to happen and to catch the monsters that are abducting the girls.

Great characters and plot. Just enough description to "feel" the moment. A book that was hard to put down.

Even though this story is fictional the story line is absolutely true. Human trafficking is huge and it is right there in your own neighborhoods. Making people aware of this horrendous situation is crucial. If your intuition tells you something's not right, listen and report it.

The just finished reading both of your books, I also worked homicide for several years and found your books to be entertaining. I partnered with a detective who would give Bella, run for her money. He worked crazy long hours more hours then I can imagine. He made the LA City list of people who made the most money in yearly wages. His overtime was crazy. I would work 12/13 hours a day with him and yet he stayed and worked even longer. Your characters are amazing as well as your writing. I will be looking forward to your next book, keep up the good work.
