  • Good suspense, great romance, a mystery not completely solved

Sawyer and several of his SEAL buddies are on vacation in Cancun. They are not looking for adventure; they get enough of that with their SEAL duties. Jenna and Carly are in Cancun because Jenna was left at the altar and the honeymoon was nonrefundable. Jenna’s cheating ex said she was boring and he couldn’t see being with her forever. Carly is encouraging Jenna to do things that no one would ever call boring. They meet Sawyer and his friend Quentin waiting in line to ride a zip-line through the jungle. Both Jenna and Sawyer aren’t too happy about doing this and have thoughts of backing out but they go through with it. Later, at her hotel, Jenna accidentally picks up a suitcase she thinks is her missing one. When she opens the suitcase she is surprised, and somewhat horrified, to find that it contains a weapon and instructions to capture Sawyer, the man she just met. Although he isn’t staying at her hotel she is able to track him down. What follows is a compelling adventure filled with suspense and intrigue. The chemistry between the h and H is electric but neither of them is looking for anything permanent. Elle James did a great job leaving red-herrings during this story! *****Reviewed for Xtreme-Delusions*****
