Warriors: Mapleshade's Vengeance

Cats I hate in this book 1 Reedshine 2 Appledusk 3Featherwhisker 4 Oakstar This book was good but I think if mapleshade had a better mate and clan mates she wouldn’t be in the dark forest at all! Also Leafpool had mate in another clan plus she was a medicine cat and she still want to starclan!

After nearly 30 Warriors books and short stories, this is my favorite. Great characterization, and you really can feel Mapleshade’s pain.

I love this book, but multiple times in the book I found myself forgetting that Mapleshade is the villain. I had to remind myself that the characters Mapleshade was killing were terrible people but didn’t deserve to die. If you decide to read this book, you need to keep in mind that it is told from the villain’s perspective.

Who else wanted to kill Reedshine after reading this? Show of hands. SHE IS THE DEFINITION OF PICK ME “GEw aWAy mApLeshade. yOu’vE cAuseD eNOUgh tRoUBLe.” *screams* Ima write an alternate version of this book were she slowly and painfully kills Reedshine Anyway great book 10/10 love Mapleshade 😁

I think Mapleshade should have been treated better. It was Appledusks fault he died .

Crowfeather 8. Breezepelt 9. Ashfur 10. Clear Sky / Skystar And my least favorite cats (ranked) 1. Rainflower 2. Dovewing 3. Bramblestar My ships are 1. Crow x Leaf and Crow x Feather 2. Fallen Leaves x Hollyleaf 3. Squirrel x Ash (from the very beginning, nor after Ashfur turned evil) 4. Badgerfang x Mosskit (is it weird? Idk, I mean they were both kits, let me know what you think) 6. Talltail x Jake 7. Ravenpaw x Barley 8. And finally, Longtail x Mousefur Um that’s it for now, ig Bai!! Siren: lol one of my other fandoms, Genshin Impact, has some strange ships in the fandom. I actually have only one, maybe two, ships for the 50+ total characters. I’ve seen a couple that are… um… really bad. But yes, the Badgerfang and Mosskit ship was because even though Badgerfang was an apprentice when he died, he wasn’t six moons old yet. And also the kits are most likely more mature, so I imagine their ship being like an extremely simple puppy love kind of thing lol 😂 idk just something cute as to where they both had a crush on each other, but they aren’t actual mates. - Sunsetsplash

Me personally I stick to strictly canon ships bc I'm traumatized from some questionable fandoms (although the canon is amazing) *cough cough* undertale *cough cough* I usually never ship kits but I guess mentally they're older and you all do what you want (but nothing illegal) :3 Oh also I took down the allegiances for the moonlights bc the clan wasn't active but I have them saved so dw -Siren -Clover

This was so sad Bro that’s kinda crazy how Frecklewish just stood there watching MapleShades kit’s drowning and did nothing And how Apple’dusk literally has a whole other Mate that is have Kits and he has the audacity to say “It’s your fault our kits are dead” and “I want nothing to do with you” … And how REEDSHINE IS LITERALLY THE DEFINITION OF “PICK-ME” Ravenwing needs to stay in his own business that’s why he dead he practically ruined Maple’shades life with that “Now that I know the truth I can’t lie either” Also who does frecklewish think she is pinning down our queen and making her go half blind that’s why she can’t see no more but anyway good book great ending and now that she is in dark forest she can cause more pain with REEDSHINE

But I think Mapleshade’s my second favorite Warrior cat I started reading this series when I was 7 or 8 and I turned 12 two months ago and until January of 2023, I did not have a fav Warrior cat. They were all awesome!! But then I got a list of dislikes. Tigerstar 1.0 Rainflower Firestar Bramblestar Blackstar (a lot of ‘stars. Yes I hate a lot of them) Tigerstar 2.0 Dovewing Dawnpelt ASHFUR 😡😡😡😡😡 Yeah a lot, but now I have my first fav and second fav Prepare yourselves b/c this may shock you. . . 1st fav: Leopardstar of RiverClan (it was her super edition’s fault) (Yes I know she’s dead still like her) 2nd fav: Mapleshade (Idc if she was evil, I like her that way and I would side with her over Ravenwing or Frecklewish or Appledusk (the 3 cats she killed in this book spoiler) She may have killed Spottedleaf but honestly I don’t really like Spottedleaf or Sandstorm so deal with it

I finally understand her after reading this book. Apple dusk stinks. But, I don’t think going out and killing every cat who wronged you is the right way to go out. Other than that, love you Mapleshade!
