Owen Bowen has great ambition for his band, Dynamo Snow: to climb to the top of the US metal charts and be the go-to example when teachers, preachers, and grocers site the unspeakable evils claiming the youth of today. But myriad obstacles stand before them; one chiefly being cold indifference from an apathetic American audience. Though selling reasonably well in eastern Europe and having your posters line the the walls of a Bratislavan teen’s bedroom are nothing to sneeze at, there are few things better than being a hometown hero. It is with this singular goal in mind that Bowen and band strive to duplicate that same eastern European success in the States—no matter what the cost.
