Couldn’t finish it…don’t bother!m

Not even close to the level of Mind Games, Hideaway, Under Currents, etc. Poor character development and story just doesn’t click. Disappointing. I generally pre-order but will likely wait moving forward

The book is very slow and focused too much on the home improvement.

I was expecting more, I wanted to look forward to this book every night but sadly I didn’t.

I loved the book, as I’ve read several of hers. I was bothered by the crazy couple’s overuse of the term “doll.” There were a few things that didn’t make sense, and the editing should have been looked at closer, as some typos, phrases instead of a sentence, and a few words that didn’t fit or make sense. It seems the end could have been better. If I came into my house when I knew there were killers out there, I’d immediately leave and call for help, so unrealistic. I wondered if she’s married to a Contractor, because she has several books that talk about fix ups.

As always, Nora Roberts never disappoints! Loved the book!

Too much narrative regarding home renovation, decorating and cooking instead of fully developing the the crime drama. Good book if you are interested in remodeling a tired house.

Loved the start, loved the end, but the middle for me was so slow, and boring. I’m a fan, and I’ve read so many books she has written and enjoyed them, this one for me, was a struggle.

Haven’t been able to get into a book for a long time, now I’m sad that it’s over. Great read!

I have every single NR and JD Robb book and love most of them. This one…it was okay. I’d def wait for the price to go down. I didn’t believe the other reviews that said that but I’m saying it too. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️
