Difficult to put down, a real page turner! Excellent characters. One of the best books that I have read this year.

Greatly enjoyed reading this book!! So many twists and turns, with Sami in search of the truth. This story demonstrated the truth of the saying “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” Secrets and lies have no end, and looking back 22 years to New Year’s Eve 1999 - so many lives changed forever with tremendous guilt, shame, and sadness never going away. Poor Caroline blaming herself for loving Victoria! Can’t wait for a follow-up with Sami searching for his love child from his sunny days on the Mediterranean in Spain.

I loved this book so much I couldn’t put it down. A story full of interesting characters, twists and turns. So much suspense and funny too.

One of his better works. I love perverted unsuspecting denouements.

Keeps you guessing until the last page!! Awesome book.

Too contrived.

I always enjoy reading Harlan’s books. Even more so now that they are turning into Netflix shows. I hope there is a sequel coming soon that delves into the pregnancy.
