I had no idea how widespread white extremist groups are in the United States. Growing up in the South, I was aware of the KKK, but I did not realize the extent or variety of other extremist disruptors. This book was truly eye-opening. Thank you for your service, and for sharing your experiences. It was inspiring to see how your strong family support and faith helped you through such difficult times.

I enjoyed the book a lot. The book however doesn’t focus mainly on hate crime but rather on Agent Payne’s career and the Hate crime cases he worked on. Nontheless, a really good read, especially if you’re into law enforcement or into crime genre.
