This book broke me, best I’ve read. I did not expect that and I’m so broken right now, I don’t know what to do with myself.

Claire & Gerald are just as magical as the rest of the group. I can’t describe how hard this book made me laugh, cry, and scream.
  • Great book but felt very rushed

I LOVE THIS SERIES! The first four books were impeccable however this fifth book was lacking in some areas. It felt a little rushed. I thought we were going to get more of Claire and Gibsie through the years but we really only saw them at two ages. It felt like it didn’t truly align with the subtle clibsie hints that were given in the first four books. With that being said it’s still an incredible book! I wish we had more of them together, the ending felt rushed. Also I wish we had more of the fallout with Gibs mom and stepdad. I wanted to see more of that when everything came to light but it all felt very brushed over. Also how could gibs not blame his mom for everything that happened? Literally everything bad in his life happened because of her infidelity and he doesn’t blame her at all?? Confused by that and also goes to the point of everything be glossed over at the end. Needed more of inside the house, the family drama and push and pull that we got in the first four books! Can’t wait for Hugh and Feely books though!

I have been waiting for this book to come out in the second it dropped. I did not waste a second not reading it. With everything going on in social media, is it refreshing to know that I can find comfort in these books starting all the way from Shannon and Johnny. I hope the author continues the series and I will forever wish I can read it again and again for the first time!
