Believable and interesting characters. An interesting and enjoyable mystery.

I have to admit that this is not my typical genre, but the cover, title, and “fly leaf” excerpt caught my eye. To say that I was totally drawn in by the quality writing, the carefully crafted plot lines, and little revelations along the journey to the climactic ending that was totally unforeseen would be an understatement. Simon King knows a thing or two about what makes a good book. I look forward to reading his other works…right after I finish rereading this one!
