I have the comb bound version of this book and wanted a digital copy for travel. Yes, I use it that much! The leap year edition digital version has hyperlinks so it is super easy to jump around between songs. The 365 daily digital version does not. I would love to see that updated.
  • Unsearchable, cannot add notes

The table of contents is not in alphabetical order!! I don’t know how you’re supposed to find a song in the book if it’s not in alphabetical order. If you bookmark more than one song you won’t be able to find them. There is no comprehensive list of your bookmarked songs!!! And bookmarks are per two page view not per song!!! This is so impractical for a music book!! Ther is a notes section where you are unable to a make any notes!!!! Verses are missing from many songs! The update didn’t copy bookmarks correctly. When you leave the app it doesn’t keep your place. “Carolina in the morning” Gus Kahn NOT Gus Kah

Love this book but would love to be able to write notations with the apple pen.
  • Terrible format for musicians

Don’t get me wrong—this is a fabulous collection!!! And the update which aligns the page numbers with the paper book is a miracle... BUT if you are a musician that can’t sing well in Liz’s key, you can’t make any changes or notations. Being able to write on this ebook with the Apple Pencil would be a minor miracle. My uke group has 6 years of notations about intros, endings, and corrections that I would love to scrawl all over this book, but the notation options are all missing. It’s useless for that.

As a beginner to the Ukulele, I decided to splurge and buy this songbook. If you like Oldies music (this book is full of) you will enjoy it! The songs range from 1920-70's music. Some 90's songs too. Yes, the font is small but I don't find that a problem, I just click on the music and it opens a larger view. For songs that are 2 pages long, I take a snapshot of it in fullscreen and print it out.

If the Daily Ukulele was available for purchase and download in an PDF format, then it can be used in a more appropriate program such as music app programs such as Forscore. Sheet music and music books are very easy to manage and use and very readable with apps like Forscore. The Daily Ukulele is not useful in programs like iBooks, which is great for viewing and reading books, but iBooks is useless for music books. Developers of the Daily Ukulele need to make this book available to musicians to use in a sheet music app such as Forscore. I would then be willing to pay for the Daily Ukulele if it could be made available to iPad users to use in Forscore. Makes much more sense to have a music book available to use in a music program!

Agreed. Completely unusable on my iPad. Changing to larger fonts only changes the title and not the music. Would like a refund or a way to enlarge the sheet music. This was not thought out.

Same content as the printed version. Only problem is that I need a magnifying glass to read it. Would be nice if I could double tap on the song to enlarge it or drag the corners to enlarge. I just wasted 35 bucks!
