This book hurt me in the sweetest way. Charlotte Brontë had me utterly spellbound.
Love this book!

My favorite novel! I love to re-read it over and over. I’ve always enjoyed Jane’s journey from unwanted orphan to the beloved of the changeable Mr Rochester, who is himself an imperfect yet fascinating romantic lead.
This prose is poetry

I think this story is about love and its relationship to reconciliation and redemption. In contrast, Wuthering Heights is a sort of opposite book about love and its relationship to revenge. It is worth reading both novels together to benefit from their stark similarities and contrasts. Of course, the authors of each are accomplished poets and the language throughout is pure poetic bliss.
A Great Narrative

It's a good book. This was my second reading, and it didn't disappoint. The plot tosses and turns in some strange ways, but they each somehow still make sense in the end.
Addictive and excellent

A beautiful love story and excellent read.
I was enthralled from the first chapter and stayed up past my bedtime because difficult to put the book down.
Schools should require this reading, even just for the vocabulary

By apple pie is yummy
Read this classic after I had seen it on TV. The novel stirred my love for the english language, how you can use it to describe any situation without the prolixity of ‘ you know’ and ‘ aahhh’ . Some words are becoming obsolete due to non usage, I needed a dictionary next to me. It’s fascinating how Bronte in those days conceived a romantic story tying up poverty, religion, friendship and redemption. Lovely.
Good but very drawn out

As rounded as Jane is, internally and externally blossoming, her romantic endeavor with Rochester was confusing and drawn out. I like the premise but did not prefer some plot choices. Great book, just longgggg.
