Description

In this astounding account, Wall Street’s notorious bad boy—the original million-dollar-a-week stock chopper—leads us through a drama worthy of The Sopranos, from the FBI raid on his estate to the deal he cut to rat out his oldest friends and colleagues to the conscience he eventually found. With his kingdom in ruin, not to mention his marriage, the Wolf faced his greatest challenge yet: how to navigate a gauntlet of judges and lawyers, hold on to his kids and his enraged model wife, and possibly salvage his self-respect. It wasn’t going to be easy. In fact, for a man with an unprecedented appetite for excess, it was going to be hell. But the man at the center of one of the most shocking scandals in financial history soon sees the light of what matters most: his sobriety, and his future as a father and a man.

This book is hilarious. It’s taken me months to read and as I sit here I’m thinking about rereading it! The beginning was rough to read. I have read bits and pieces in months and about halfway through I couldn’t put it down! What a story!
  • An Engrossing and funny follow up to The Wolf of Wall Street

Jordan is an amazing and humorous writer. His story is gripping and real. I couldn't put the book down and saw the movie twice. I give it five stars.

There are more really great really funny one liners in this book than a Rodney Dangerfield comedy act. At points almost every sentence is laugh out loud funny. Belfort was a talented person who lost control of his own abilities. His talent took on a life of its own and directed him to places he never wanted to be or needed to be. The whole thing is endlessly fascinating and endlessly funny. If you are remotely interested by the book and enjoy.

Too many stories rehashed from the first book. Far too much detailed info on the legal proceedings.
  • Not as good as the first, but still great

Don't get me wrong this is still a great book and a quick read. Just not as good as the first. But if you loved the first this book gives you a great insight of the Man before he became the Wolf and how he changed during his corporation with the Feds.

The first book in the series was very good, entertaining, but the second book captivates you. It gives you insights to Jordan's perplexing Wall Street crimes , the reasons for his many needs. This book is a fast read, a real page turner. Thank you for writing it.

For the 2nd time this month, Jordan Belfort has sucked me into his maniacal life and I thank him for his candor and lessons to this rising entrepreneur, who can see how easily life can get out of hand. But most of all, I simply thank Mr. Belfort for the entertainment and laughs. I highly recommend both books for sheer, outrageous entertainment. It's almost too unbelievable... Almost... ;) Ferny
