Anne Shirley’s character is the best. She’s a little talkative, but that adds to her character. I like the ofher characters too, especially Marilla and Diana. I like Anne’s adventuress and scrapes. Truly wonderful.

Nothing tops this series but especially the first book. Her optimistic outlook on life is contagious and I feel happy with my own life when I read this book. It’s a true classic, wonderful repeat read and one of the best books written.

I really liked Anne of Green Gables! It's about a girl named Anne who is super smart, funny, and always gets into trouble. She has bright red hair and a big imagination. Anne gets adopted by two people named Marilla and Matthew, but they thought they were getting a boy! Even though Anne makes a lot of mistakes, she’s so lovable, and you can’t help but cheer for her. The story takes place in a pretty place called Prince Edward Island, and the book has lots of nice descriptions of flowers, trees, and the ocean. I liked how Anne calls everything "kindred spirits" and tries to make everything sound magical. Sometimes, the book got a little slow in parts, like when Anne was in school or talking about her lessons. But I didn’t mind too much because Anne is so fun to read about. She makes everything interesting, even when things go wrong. I think my favorite part was when Anne tried to dye her hair green (it didn’t turn out well!) and when she made up her own stories to explain things. She’s funny and brave and always tries her best, even if it doesn’t always work. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes fun stories about adventures, friends, and learning from mistakes. It made me laugh and smile a lot!

This book is great. I don’t care if I get made fun of for reading this because I’m in high school. This book is good and anyone can read it. Well, except for toddlers. But still, this book is great. And I enjoy it.

I was fully immersed in this wonderful book, which was as much about the adults as it was about the girl Anne herself. It is truly wonderful storytelling and full of vivid character characters.

I love Anne of Green Gables, it’s been my comfort book for a lot of years now. The writing is phenomenal, the story brings tears to my eyes, truly, a 6 star book.

This lovely book is so thrilling and delightful that I can’t wipe the smile off my face! The smiling can sometimes give me a cramp in my face😂 The beautiful diction in this book is very powerful and I would love to be able to talk in such ways!
