It’s a great book

I read this for school but surprisingly really enjoyed it! It has good characters you can really fall in love with!

Written with love and grace, Lily’s story just touches upon several oppressions in a way that is perfectly provoking. This one will stay with me

I found this story to be written in a simple and often schmaltzy way, but I would have enjoyed it in middle school when I was reading Nancy Drew books in the 60s.

I watched the movie a long time ago and really loved it. Saw the book was only a few dollars and read it very quickly. It’s through the eyes of a 14 year old girl but as an adult, I felt I related to her so easily. This books gives you the feels for sure!! If you’re looking for a good book, read it!!

this book truly was so touching and will have an everlasting effect on me. i think this is a book that everyone should read.
