I was spellbound the entire day! Yes, finished in one day. Could not put it down!

The storyline is great but the language is horrible One can One can get the same plot of the story without the language used

These two had a prequel, which was smoking hot addicting, and I knew I had to read their book. Their prequel was my first Gwyn McNamee book, I know, I know she’s been on my tbr list, and now I’ve read 2 of her books. Because after that prequel, Night Hawke, and fanning myself, I knew there was no way I was missing their story, and it did not disappoint. This book picks up 5 years after their two-night stand. Her dad brings her to his family to keep her safe. And imagine both of their surprises seeing each other again, especially when both of them tried to find the other after their nights together. And there was another surprise too, and probably the biggest surprise, which literally stayed a secret for about a hot second with his family. This was a fast paced read, full of a ton of heat, emotions, action and suspense. It kept me glued to the pages, and I read it in a day. Couldn’t put it down, and didn’t really want to. It definitely lived up to the hype after their prequel for sure. I didn’t love that they were apart for so long, but then their circumstances were not normal, or even close to normal. They did try and look for each other, but with no actual names they never could find each other. Once he sees her again, yeah he was never gonna let the one that got away go again…not ever. Great read, with a hea.

I didn’t realize this was a mafia romance as the summary didn’t mention it. Not a style I enjoy.

Wow, was definitely a page turner. The beginning was not the norm. The beginning of the two main characters was interesting and never got dull after that. So many different families envolved so much action , but soon got to be deadly if not controlled. the action that came up and how it was taken care of, just got worse, I was not able to put the book down and read over a few days. I got so engrossed in it that it was finished in a day and half. I did like the ending and the main characters extending their family and happy.

The book drags on, lots of eye roll moments. The big dramatic event at the end was very blah. I’d skip.

This book Ruthless Hawke is the second generation of the Hawke Family. Issac and Mina share a steamy night 5 years ago but gave each other different names (read the prequel). Circumstances bring them together. Issac is burning for Mina, and Mina is caught off guard when she realizes the protection she seeks is from Issac’s family. No other spoilers! This is a must read! I love their chemistry and the determination of Issac. ❤️

Holy smokes! I absolutely love Isaac and Jack. It’s not insta-love or insta-lust, but strong chemistry and attraction. It’s that feeling of just knowing that’s the person for you, and you can’t explain it. There are some amazing sexy times (duh), and some serious suspense going on. Then toss in the crossover from other series to tie most of Gwyn’s series into the same world, absolutely brilliant. Since I love the original Hawke family series, to get the next generation is amazing. There are some Easter eggs which I thought were great. This series is going to continue to be amazing. I just know it.
