Four and a half stars Theadora Eloise Pope is the quiet, nerdy, make no waves sister. Kade St James is not any of that. Thea and Kade are conscripted as reluctant participants in their siblings’ weeklong wedding extravaganza, a more over the top and made for public consumption affair than one might imagine. When Thea surprises even herself with a proposal for some retaliatory shenanigans and Kade immediately accepts, they embark on a week that not only includes the agreed upon down and dirty, but also a budding friendship, growing consideration for the other, and the chance to see themselves in a different, and some would argue better, light. Avery Flynn’s ANGER BANG runs the gamut from quieter introspection to warm humor to the aforementioned heat with ease, and Thea and Kade quickly grabbed my attention and heart. A completely entertaining read!
