I really enjoyed this book. As a history teacher, the idea of taking a class through a time portal is fascinating - until I read further. I loved the “history baseball” game and plan to use it in my classroom. The characters are interesting, but I always felt like I wanted to know more. The book certainly leaves enough threads for the series it looks like it developed into. I guess I need to add some more to my to read list.

Enjoyed this book immensely. I can recommended to anyone that likes science fiction and of course, time travel, happy reading.

Easy to follow

Loved the book. Kept me reading it just to get to the end. I had a totally different ending in mind so I was really surprised at the end but definitely not disappointed. Will read more of this series.

I gave this a 4* rating due to some long explanations that I call filler talk around food, other than those the book moved along well and was a pleasant fun read

This reader immediately purchased the next book in this series and can’t wait to continue this wonderful tale of intrigue and mystery. This story is beautifully developed, with each scene pulling readers into the various settings. A must read for fiction lovers!
