Loved Travis and Eliza’s story! The entire series has been great so far.

Small town setting. Liked the book but was a book that I could put down often.

This was a sweet clean small town romance. It kind of helps if you have read the previous books in the series as past characters are mentioned quite a bit. I love Kat Bellemore’s books. Her writing is good at keeping my attention and wanting me to read more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Travis seems unmoored, without purpose, and insecure. He thought he had the life he wanted looking towards a future with someone but she didn’t return his feels and falls for another. I like Starlight Ridge, where it feels like you are on vacation even when you are working, and the small community comes together to support each other. It’s a good place for him to figure out his next steps. Matchmaker Jessie is a riot. I have a friend who had to go on cholesterol medication young because of genetics, but despite that her family is known for living long lives. At least Eliza is focused on exercising and eating relatively healthy even if it seems she keeps running from something she feels is inevitable out of fear instead of enjoying the here and now. Cholesterol numbers can fluctuate which can stress me out too when I get bloodwork, but Eliza needs to remember it doesn't tell the whole picture of her health.
