It was okay, a little long

It took me a while to actually finish reading this somewhat grumpy reclusive lumberjack who happened to be a secret billionaire with deep secrets and heartaches in his past who inadvertently rescued and took in an woman with secrets of her own during an snowstorm up in the mountains. Normally I would enjoy this author’s work but for some reason, this particular story kinda dragged even though the steamy sexual encounters between Beau and Brooke was still hot. Despite of the story moving at a very slow pace, both characters had heartbreaking and unsettling experiences of their own while trying to come terms with their troubled pasts that eventually got them together in the end. I wanted to say that I liked it but not really.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I totally enjoyed this book. I cried a few times when the back stories were revealed, that shows how the author was able to bring me into the story.
I wish I had a way with words to adequately portray how wonderful this book is, and how highly I recommend it to others.
Good read

The story and the characters were ok. There was nothing too exciting about the story. I think the author could have put a little more effort into this story.
Excellent read.

I skimmed and skipped to when they finally get together and it was anticlimactic. This we both have a secret, his always getting mad and apologizing and her just apologizing got tired fast. There are so many books out there like this I don’t know at this point who’s copying who.

I was hopefully until I read the f word in the first paragraph of chapter one. Why do these authors think they need to use that low class language in a romance story when very successful female authors of the past never did? It shows how low class and immature these aspiring female authors are who think they need to use that type of language to sell their book.If I could I would rate this book a zero.
