Interesting story but it was hard to keep the characters straight. I really expected the sherif to find out a way to arrest her brother and get the money back. Maybe in another book. Thanks g

I loved the adult relationships with the lifetime friends. The aging process has only deepened their friendships. Their ability to have each other’s back’s reminds me of my high school friends who remain so supportive in my long 50+ years of friendship. I highly recommend this book.

This book made you want to live in the location it was written and have the friendships these ladies do. I loved how they were always there for one another and yet they had there arguments too. I wish I could proofread for this author as there were many typos, etc.

So many characters to develop. The result was a group of forever friends that could never be separated.
  • Decent read.

The story line is pretty good. But there are a lot of grammar issues which can be puzzling. I’ve had to re-read sentences to understand what was supposed to be said.

This is the first Jessie Newton book I’ve read and I’m addicted to her. Even though this book is not a first in the series, I cared for Eloise, Alice, Robin, A.J., Kelli and their “families” like they were my own. There were a few spots where I was questioning who someone was, probably from a previous book, but that character was not integral to this story. The storyline was dynamic with a lot of layers to each character and there was depth to the story and the characters. I will be reading her other books and I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about real characters and their struggles and achievements. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
