COMMON ENGLISH WORDS, PHRASES

Introduction:
The internet nowadays offers all sort of programs and lessons to teach En-glish. The author first memorized the pronunciation of English words which he wrote the way they sound but in Spanish; next, with a dictionary he found the spelling and the meaning of those english words. This lifetime work he kept in manuscripts which he now transcribes into a computer, whenever possible in alphabetic order, with some synonyms and of course its Spanish translation. Although incomplete and not properly revised this never ending job is published with the expectation that it may be of help to someone.     
     Introducción:
 El internet ofrece variedad de métodos audiovisuales para la enseñanza del inglés. En su autoaprendizaje el autor primero memorizó la pronunciación de palabras en inglés y las esribió asi como suenan, pero en español; luego con diccionarios encontró el deletreo y significado de estas palabras que las guardó en apuntes, que ahora los transcribe a una computadora, con algunos sinónimos y por supuesto su traducción al Español. Este trabajo, aunque incompleto y sin revisiones adecuadas, se publica con la esperanza de que le sirva de ayuda a alguien.

         The english words and phrases written in this book were obtained from newspapers, magazines, books, radio, internet, television, conversation with people and just about from any available source; the author came to Ame-rica with no English; yet, he tried to learn as many english words as he could, but he run out of time; he tried.
