I loved the strength and honor of Lachlan and at his Elizabeth made the second half of his soul. His deep honor is a thing of the past in our superficial world of mocking masculinity as a bad thing but in truth it is glorious. I had a hard time reading through the historical portion of the book. The Scottish version of Salem is so much worse than in Massachusetts....With The Magnificent Seven all things were possible.
