Kiss Me At Christmas is a story full of action, mystery, danger, romance and humor. Regina and Daffin are wonderful characters and make a great couple. Regina Haversham, a feisty lady approaching her thirtieth birthday, wishes to have one night of passion (lose her virginity) before she faces spinsterhood or worse, a forced arranged marriage. She has chosen Daffin OakLeaf, a handsome and brilliant Bow Street Runner who helped to solve her cousin’s murder, to fulfill her wish. For a number of reasons, he declines the honor. When he is hired to guard Regina against attempts on her life, the attraction between them becomes increasingly harder to fight. The danger to Regina and the villains involved are quite a surprise. The stories, the mystery and the romance, capture and keep your attention from the beginning to an ending you will absolutely love. I enjoyed this one and recommend it. If you like some mystery and danger with your romance, you’ll love it. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley and volunteered to review it.

I love stories set at Christmas and this one just warmed my heart. Lady Regina is set to become engaged to a man, who she has not choice but to wed. Why is that? Unfortunately it often happened during these times. She decides that even if she has to marry, she will do what she wants before all her decisions are taken away. Her focus turns to Daffin, a renowned bow street runner, who she knows and has flirted with in the previous book in this series. So she goes and offers herself to him because yes, she is a little in love. But what can he say? He is from a totally different class than Regina! This was a delightful story and I fell in love with these two characters. Truly meant for each other, this was entertaining from beginning to end. The descriptions and detail were inspired and although this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. But don't miss out on the other great stories!! I read this through NetGallery

Valerie Bowman is a Masterful Storyteller and this is so evident in this story. This was a delightful, engaging romance, so full of charm and heat, as well as a captivating mystery, full of intrigue and suspense. I fell in love with Regina and Daffin’s story and so will you. Lady Regina Haversham will turn thirty in one month. A gorgeous rich lady of the ton, she has been firmly on the shelf for some time. Waiting for love. But now that her uncle is eager for her to become engaged to the Earl of Dryden, she wants to give herself a birthday present. She wants to lose her virginity to the man of her own choosing, and her choice is Daffin Oakleaf. Daffin Oakleaf is a famous Bow Street Runner with a face and body of a Greek God. They met each other last summer at her uncle’s estate when her cousin John had been murdered. They had been drawn to each other. But Lady Regina was strictly off limits to Daffin, since she was far above him in class and breeding as well as being his good friend’s cousin. So when Lady Regina asks Daffin to be her lover he refuses. But the idea of sleeping with her was quite tempting, and he had already spent a fair amount of time thinking of nothing else. But when Lady Regina’s life is in danger, her cousin hires Daffin to keep her safe. With more time together their sizzling chemistry ignites. This was wonderfully romantic, passionate, and entertaining. The characters are so multi-faceted, full of depth, flaws and redeeming qualities that they blew me away. Love, Love, Loved it! This is a must read for any one who enjoys a excellently written Regency Romance. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The story revolves around Daffin Oakleaf, a bow street runner, and Regina Haversham and the fact that someone is trying to hurt her. The story is full of danger, suspense, kidnapping, murder plots and last but not least love. Because of their different ranks in society Daffin has determined that he is not in a position to express interest in Regina. There is a HEA but not before the person who wants Regina dead is uncovered. This is a well written story and worth reading. I would highly recommend this book.
