Calder Stonewall has been looking for Hope and her son for a while, determined to make sure they’re ok after the incident with her son. He feels a deep need to find them to reassure both his friend Blythe and himself of their safety. For the first time in his life, his priority isn’t his work as an ME. Hope and Calder are both strong, very decent people and the evolution of the relationships between Calder and Hope and Billy is well done. The reader longs every step of the for them to find their happy ending.

I loved this book! I love this series!

Calder finally finds Hope and her son Billy and falls in love with both of them! Billy is not talking but really takes to Calder. We get to hear from the law enforcement crew and their women/man and some firefighters. Lots of drama and some sweet hot loving. I really enjoyed this one.

Is a great book of how Hope and Billy, her son bounce back from a bad marriage. They have a home after being left on the street and a job as a waitress. When Calder “Squirrel”, Steps in to give them a little help and maybe a little more. This is a must read! 👍👍👍👍👍

Another win for Susan Stoker and her fans! I simply cannot wait for the next book to come out! Awesome hero with a heroine worth fighting for. Added bonus, her son is adorable. 5 stars all the way!!

This is a wonderful story of second chances! Hope and Billy are barely surviving after leaving an abusive home. Calder has been looking for them for quite some time because a friend was worried about them. Now that he’s found them, he knows that they are his future. With a lot of patience and love, the life they had always wanted, but seemed impossible, was theirs for the asking!
