    I laughed, I cried, I loved it. What an amazing finale to a trilogy. The characters are so well written it feels like I can feel what they feel. Absolutely stunning.

    This book is everything! I just devoured it, and Penelope and Cruz will leave you wanting more! Penna was such an awesome heroine. Seeing her overcome her demons, and coming back to her feisty, strong, confident self, was awesome. My heart broke for a few things and how she was treated by a few family members, but I love that the Renegades were there for her to lean on. And Cruz of course. He saw her pains, her emotions she kept well hidden, and gave her an ear to listen to. All while being sexy and trying to do the right thing. I haven't had the chance to read the first two books in this series, but after getting a glimpse of the supporting couples, I will need to go back to and get their stories! This book drew me in from the beginning, and had the absolutely perfect ending. Definitely one that is a must read!!!

    I didn't think there was any way that I would love a book more than Nova (book two of the Renegades series) but then I started Rebel and realized that this book was going to be EVERYTHING!! This book can definitely be read as a standalone but this series is so amazing that I think everyone should read all of the books of this series. From the very first page, I knew this book was going to be a high-adreline, keep me on my toes, never put it down story. The chemistry between Penna and Cruz was intense and captivating. I was rooting for them from the second they met. But even more than I was rooting for them as a couple, I was rooting for them as individuals. For Penna to be able to find herself again after her sister's actions and for Cruz to be able to fulfill all of his dreams for his family. There is no two characters who are more perfect for each other than Penna and Cruz: they're supportive but independent, take risks, and have heat that blows up the page. I devoured this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down but I never wanted it to end. I'm sad to see the end of the Renegades series but I can't think of an ending more perfect than Rebel.

    Loved, loved, loved!!! I always know I'm going to get a great story when I pick up a Rebecca Yarros book but this one exceeded my high expectations! A forbidden love, fears to overcome, long term plans to fulfill, and a bit of suspense combine to give us one of the best books of the year. Penna and Cruz will grab your attention from the very first page and will keep you turning page after page. I absolutely couldn't put this one down. This is the third book in the series and is easily read standalone although I do think you really enjoy it more if you've read all the books and already know many of these characters. Put this on the must read list! I highly recommend it.
