THE best books I’ve read in ages. All 5. And the ending was spectacular. On a spiritual level this book couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. I had readers block and read all of them over the past two years. Thank you Odette C. bell. Thank you kindly for this beautifully written fantasy. -LB🦋🦋

It doesn’t seem to be a bad story, but because it never gives u any answers about what is going on, I can’t say that it’s a good story either. The lack of answers seemed to be purposefully decided by the author, an attempt at suspense, but it actually only leaves me with a lack of interest. The main character is also frustratingly ignorant to a point that I, as a reader, can’t even connect with her. I just have not been left with a want to read the rest of this series after reading this first book. The story might have potential, but the writing just can’t carry it there.

The only not great thing about this book is how many times it takes the Lords name in vain. It was unnecessary

I’ve been reading this author for years. Her earlier stuff was pretty good, but the more recent stuff I’ve read is just so hard to get through... and that’s saying something since her books aren’t that long. It seems like her writing gets more disjointed with each book she writes. I don’t know if this is just poor editing or done purposefully on her part, but it is really distracting. I keep downloading her books because her concepts are really great, but unfortunately her writing just doesn’t entice me to purchase the rest of her series (for all her series not just this one).

Good book, but to much of one obscene word being used. Will not read the rest.
