I have not read a book from Pamela that didn't touch my heart. I follow her books and her blogs. I can see her kayaking and her sons on top of the mountains. This book really took me in. Eric was to pick up Vic at the airport. Little did Eric know He was Victoria. She got him! Her best friend Lexi is getting married to Eric's best friend. Victoria doesn't have a chance. She shows them City can turn Country! Eric is the town Fire Chief and takes every call that comes in. Vic goes on some to learn what he does. Spoiler. She is on a camping adventure and her past comes back to haunt her. Major Spoiler! Eric backs her up where her Dad didn't. This is a good, short story. I could have done it in a day except for the tissue dashes. I loved Pamela's people. They could walk off the pages. I enjoyed her story line and it isn't her story without BEAR! Spoiler! I so hope you will enjoy this book as much as I do. Come on Book 3! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.
