Somewhere between a 3 and 3.5 stars. Truthfully I am a little torn on the rating. This novel felt like such a waiting game. I felt like I was waiting, waiting, waiting… and waiting for the other shoe to finally drop. And it does, my god does it, but really nothing exciting happens until the last 20% of the book. Nonetheless I am looking forward to watching this on screen as I think this story had a lot of potential.

Don't want to give anything away, but this is more of a supernatural thriller. Just go in to it knowing that so you're not surprised at the things that could never happen in real life. Other than that, you'll think you know where it's going but the ending twist is totally unpredictable.

Wow, I love mysteries and can usually can tell who did it. Not this book.

Just when I thought The Silent Patient could never be topped, I read this. Wow.

But the book was interesting and had an ending I did NOT expect. Like literally, you think the book is predictable and then like boom!! The ending happens. Worth a read.

Great book, from start to finish!

This story was unbelievable (in a good way!). All I can say is the ending is a mind blower (not the word I immediately thought of). Now I’m all prepped to watch the Netflix Movie! The Author is unbelievably talented and the pace of the story is just right. Super excited to read more by her.
