Description

A pro hockey player and a PR powerhouse burn up the ice in the third sexy Need You novel from the New York Times bestselling author of the Mastered Series and the Blacktop Cowboys® Series.

PR agent Annika Lund can spin any disaster into a win. But revamping the reputation of a notorious Swedish hockey player will take every trick in her arsenal, especially when his agent insists that convincing everyone he’s no longer a playboy is top priority. And that it requires a sham relationship—with Annika playing the part of the loving girlfriend.

On fire in the rink and in the bedroom, Axl Hammerquist couldn’t care less about being anyone’s golden boy. So when his agent forces him to play nice with a new publicist, he takes satisfaction in being as much of a pain as possible. But the more time he spends getting to know Annika, the more Axl starts to think that being Mr. Nice Guy might be worth it if it gets him the girl...

Axl "The Hammer" Hammerquist is a defensive beast on the ice and a sexy beast with the ladies off the ice. Annika "Iron Princess" Lund paid her dues and earned her place as VP of Public Relations for Lund Industries. Somehow she gets wrangled into cleaning up Axl's "bad boy" media image as a favor to her family. Axl was not onboard with this plan to begin with so needless to say Annika and Axl had a really rocky start to their relationship. I loved that Annika and Axl's relationship felt like a partnership of equals. There wasn't a power struggle between them. Just tons of hilarious sexy banter and off the charts chemistry. Mutual respect and genuinely supporting each other were the main characteristics of this couple and they were always straight up with each other. There wasn't any unnecessary drama going on. I loved this story and it's a wonderful addition to this series.

What kind of man can bring Annika "the ice princess" Lund to her knees? Well I didn't invision Axl Hammerquist. What starts out as an innocent PR stunt ends up changing everything. You need to read this book! This couple will melt your hearts.

The 3rd installment of the Need You Series was fantastic. We had glimpses of the fire between Annika Lund and Axl Hammerquist in Just What I Needed but this book takes us on their happily ever after journey. Lorelei James has a knack for writing the most interesting characters and the best dialogue. Like all her other books, there are laugh out loud moments especially the creative nicknames for each other, but it is also the emotion the lovers share that feels so real. You can't help but get sucked in and stay up all night to know their whole story. Much like the Rough Riders series and the McKay family, I am in love with the Lund family. I can't wait to read Jensen's story next in July.

I LOVE this series and the Lund family. "All You Need" is the 3rd book in the Need You series. I can't get enough of the series, each book follows a member of the Lund family as the find and conquer love. This book is about Annika Lund and Axl "The Hammer" Hammerquist, the sexy Swedish hockey player. I really enjoyed reading about these characters and learning about what makes them laugh and cry. This book is really well written and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

If think that, so far, this is the best book in the series. I didn't want it to end. I enjoyed Annika and Axl getting to know each other. I liked that they were pretty honest (at least about their feelings) with each other. It was pretty hot even before any physical activity took place. I'm not sure how realistic the situation they were put in was, but it worked. It's tough to work on a relationship in the public eye and also dealing with your family, who's also in the public eye. I enjoyed that they didn't keep flip flopping about their feelings or were given huge doubts about each other's motives.

Some authors fizzle as they write more books or expand from their original genre. This novel proves this is not the case with Lorelei James. This may be one of my all time favorite books of hers. Not since we were introduced to Keely in the Rough Rider series have I enjoyed a female character as much as I did Annika. Or her mama because Mama Lund steals the scene whenever she appears. If you're concerned about the turn from Western or Erotic genre, don't be. The heat is turned up on and off the ice with Annika and Axl. You'll love it, I promise!

When the story begins with the hero being called Ax-Hole and the heroine being called Attila, you know there are going to be fireworks!!! And if you’ve read the previous books in the series, you know there’s going to be steam!!! Lorelei did not disappoint! Axl is just a guy trying to do his job. Annika is just a girl trying to prove herself to her family. But they need each other for either of them to succeed. There’s the setup!! Throw in an interfering agent,a crazy mom, several protective brothers, a little bit of a translation issue and an apartment building full of nosy neighbors and you have the love story of Axl and Annika. I loved this book! This is not your typical love story or sports story but it’s a great combination of them. You aren’t overwhelmed with sports details and it isn’t all about sweetness. Axl has his issues with trust and Annika has some as well so they both have to be willing to make some uncomfortable adjustments. I especially enjoyed the banter between the brothers who we met in the earlier books. It’s funny to know where they were and see how they’ve changed with their relationships. I can’t wait to read Jensen’s story next, maybe????
