This was the most respectful, beautiful, emotional book I’ve read in a while. Ethan and Peggy are both widowers who have surrounded themselves with their work. He is in the military. Through unforeseen circumstances they become pen pals. She has a lot of forgiving and healing to do. He stands by her side. To see how closely their grief aligns was sometimes hard to read. When he gets a letter that rocks his world then all bets are off. Two people that are emotionally damaged. Can they help each other or will they be perpetually in limbo?
