Description

Random circumstances brought them together. Love made them family.

When a terrible accident takes Madeline Kirby's husband and only child, the school guidance counselor is sure she can't go on. Left behind with nothing but her work and an empty heart, she vows to survive Christmas by reaching out to comfort someone else who knows similar pain.

Fostering four motherless children for the holidays is supposed to be temporary, but as Maddie tends to defensive Stevie, distrustful Jo, delicate Alissa, and frightened little Hailey, the ache in her own heart slowly becomes bearable. And before the season of giving comes to an end, it becomes clear that life intended for them to find each other.

Enjoy these soul sisters' first Christmas together in Christmas Sisters, a prologue novella - then catch up with each of them individually, fifteen years later.

I loved this book, and how each of the sisters came together, and joined Maddie, to become a family. So many children have unhappy childhoods, and this was 4 who got a new loving family. I wish they all could

I really enjoyed this book. Each of the four girls were in need of LOVE, which they found with Maddie and each other. I have an adopted sister who came to us as a foster child at the age of three. Memories came flooding back as I remembered those first days and months with a new sister. Thank you for writing these books.

This is a novel about Maddie Kirby, a high school guidance counselor, who tragically lost her husband & young daughter in a car accident. After a period of deep grief, Maddie returns to work, hears of girls caught in a faulty foster system after experiencing their own grief & tragic losses! So knowing how empty & lonely she & her large Victorian home have become, Maddie thinks she can fill her life & theirs with love & wants to foster the four girls until she can adopt Jo (15), Stevie (13), Alissa (10) & Hailie (8). They all meet a few days before Christmas & over a hearty dinner, smiles & gentle care by Maddie, they start to realize that they have sisters & a safe, loving home at last! You will love this heartwarming story of a Christmas miracle❣️👏. The next book in the series is Christmas Kiss that takes place 15 years later! I cannot wait to begin reading‼️👍.
