i am very familar with SA and rape do not get me wrong but the way this book talks about these topics is so tone deaf, and triggering.

A beautiful portrayal of the author’s trauma with an acute portrayal of how we react to trauma. An itty-bitty must-read!

I am not a reader I don’t like to read and I haven’t opened a book since I graduated highschool. I came along this book on social media and I decided to give it a try because I been going through so much in my life. Long story short I bought this book and I can’t believe imma say this but I finished it in 2 days it’s SO GOOD! Made me cry, made me think ALOT, and it just made me feel comfortable and safe. It’s one of those books where you’re relaxing and then you read a page and you just sit there and think about everything. I completely fell in love with this book. I feel like I am healing from a lot of traumatic experiences in my past. I really recommend this book! It will make you feel different at the end!❤️‼️

This book was a beautiful journey & reflection. There was a lot of pages that have been folded that took me into deep thought, forcing me to take a breathe & feel the ache, discomfort & allowed me to digest a sip of healing with each poem. I was reminded that the healing is not done. That I am only at the tip of discovering how heartbroken I am & that healing in chaos will create the most beautiful chapter while entering the next phase of my life. Thankful.

Really struggling to understand how this book has so many good ratings. I only paid $1.99, and it still feels like a waste of money. If you hate your dad and are into weird poems about non-consensual sex, this book is for you.. I didn’t read the rest of it after the first chapter, but based on it, I don’t want to.
